Debian packages for Phusion Passenger 2.0.4
The Debian packages for Phusion Passenger 2.0.4 are available on the debian tryphon repository.
It’s a small backport from ubuntu packages provided by Brightbox.
The installation instruction are almost the same but use the debian tryphon repository instead of brightbox one …
Phusion Passenger™ debian packages are available for etch, lenny and sid on i386 and amd64.
Update: The etch/stable packages are now available.

Thanks for the package. Could it be possible to have a more liberal dependency policy? For instance, the package depends on apache2-mpm-worker. However, apache2-mpm-prefork could be seen as ok.
I’m saying this because there still are packages that depends on some non thread-safe php, which requires apache2-mpm-prefork or similar, and you have a dependency clash because of this.

This evolution is pending. The unstable build was broken yesterday, but the passenger packages without the apache2-mpm-worker dependency have been tested and will be uploaded this afternoon.

libapache2-mod-passenger 2.0.4-2 is now available without apache2-mpm-worker dependency.
