Rivendell 1.2.0 for debian and ubuntu

Fred Gleason announced rivendell 1.2.0 on thursday. The debian build ran this weekend. So Debian and ubuntu packages for Rivendell 1.2.0 are now available on debian.tryphon.org.

    Thanks for the info. That’s what was missing to start my installation of rivendell. Sims to be hardfull to do it. I’m a windows user, and I’m starting now on linux.

    I resolve the dependencies for the the program but now stuck on this, and I don’t know how to pass this. The foruns for Rivendell stop working, I don’t know why, and I don’t know where more to go. I’m Hopping you can give a litlle help.

    I’m connected as root on the Ubuntu. On the console I’ve write: apt-get install mysql-server mysql-client. Wait a little bit and then appears:

    /var/lib/dpkg/info/rivendell.postinst: line 29: /etc/rd.conf: It’s a directory
    dpkg: error on processing rivendell (–configure):
    subprocess post-installation script return an error on status de saída 1
    Foram encontrados erros enquanto processava:
    rivendell
    E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

    Can you help me? I Change to preferences on the folders already to permit read and writting.
